So yes, welcome to True Habit. The first portion that I would be touring you guys with is the store. We advocate sustainability so you would see this around our products and of course the cafe as well. We have partner store consignments. So like the bags, they are locally made. They’re woven by our Philippine tribes.

So moving forward, we have the refillery station. So you can bring your glass and you can refill your laundry detergents, your hand soaps, and all of that. So the cafe is what I really focus on. So we also have plant-based drinks. So we don’t use any full cream milk but we focus on using soy milk, almond milk, and oats. We don’t use any animal byproducts. We also use fresh beans and we also have specialty drinks. Our best seller is the Spanish Latte and Matcha Latte is my favorite. For the food, our best sellers are the pizza, mac and cheese, and the sisig. So I recommend you try everything.

Hi everyone, I am Margot Magat, a fourth-year student, taking up Entrepreneurial Management at University of Asia and the Pacific. My business is a plant-based cafe along Aurora Boulevard. It’s called True Habit Cafe, and I started it at the age of 21. I’m actually used to being busy. From a very young age, I really tried to join different orgs and tried to ace every subject and everything. I’ve really mastered it already. However, college is different, so it’s a bit busier. But what I appreciate about the EM program is that they really teach us how to balance work and life. EM has helped me a lot, actually, because the courses that they’ve already put in the program fits what I need to learn or the skills that I need to hone for doing business.

So while I’m studying, like for example, we have HR, we have sales, we have finance. So while I’m studying that, I’m actually doing it at the same time. So I’m actually having like a free consultant in a way because they guide me towards the entrepreneurial path. One thing that I like about the EM Program and maybe I’m just lucky, the blockmates that I have, they’re very supportive. They’re like-minded people that would really push you to be the best version of yourself. And yeah, they’ll just support you along the way with the professors as well.

So I’ll be graduating next year, 2024. And of course, I expect that I would expand my business and I would continue it when I graduate, of course. And that’s because of the EM program. They really hone me to be this entrepreneur to succeed and just thrive. I’m really thankful for my parents for supporting me to join the Entrepreneurial Management Program because it really helped me a lot and I wouldn’t be the person that I am today or the businesswoman that I am today because of the course. If you want to be your own girl boss, then I recommend taking Entrepreneurial Management at the University of Asia Pacific.
