About
A former Unilever executive who is now a part-time teacher, business consultant, and financial investor. He is also a full-time grandfather to two grandchildren. He worked at Unilever for almost 37 years, retiring in 2007 as Board Member/VP Supply Chain, Unilever Philippines, Inc. and concurrently, Vice President, Unilever Asia Pacific. In these roles, he championed Filipino manufacturing excellence and helped several local SMEs reach world-class standards. He also integrated them into Unilever’s supply chain to serve the Philippines’ fast-moving consumer goods market, as well as Asia Pacific and beyond. In the process, he saved and created thousands of local jobs. He also helped several young talented Filipino engineers get executive positions in Unilever companies abroad.
While working for a big global UK company, he and his family lived in Turkey and Africa, where he took on senior management positions. He also lived in London for senior executive training in the UK and Europe. He also took on short-term senior leadership assignments in the US, Western Europe, South America, and Asia.

Experience
