Jaime Puno is a seasoned professional in the advertising industry. He is also a lecturer at the University of Asia and the Pacific in marketing subjects. He held various key roles as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Dentsu Young & Rubicam Alcantara, Board Member of the Dentsu Young & Rubicam Alcantara Advisory Board, Part of the Dentsu Young & Rubicam Alcantara Management Group, Chairman of Marketforce Advertising Philippines. He oversaw multinational accounts across Asia which include Colgate, Kraft Foods, Inc., AT&T, and Shell. His expertise also includes strategic planning, continuous improvement programs, and integrated marketing communication approaches.
Mr. Puno has a B.S. in Commerce with a major in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas and undertook professional development programs at the Center for Research & Communication and the Stanford University Executive Development Program. His involvement in the advertising industry spans leadership roles, including serving as the Chairman of the Television & Radio Council of the Philippines (TVRC) and as the President of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies —Phils. (4As —P). He has also been an active member of the International Advertising Association since 1986.
